WHAT'S ON IN THE WEEK?

Church is about groups of people joining together to follow Jesus. We run a variety of activities and meetings to provide opportunity for this to happen

CAMEO

A warm welcome awaits you at CAMEO (Come And Meet Each Other) lunch club for senior citizens.  This is an opportunity to make new friends or meet up with old ones, while enjoying a home-made two course meal, all free of charge!

For more information please contact Marion Phillips, our Seniors Worker.

Fortnightly Monday between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm

Tuesday Guild

A group for everyone with a Freedom Pass.  We enjoy a varied programme that includes outside speakers on a whole range of subjects, quizzes, singing, visits to the theatre and local attractions and an annual holiday to Eastbourne.

For more information please contact Rev Amanda James or Marion Phillips, our Seniors Worker.

Tuesday afternoons from 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm

Prayer Meetings

At Enfield Baptist Church we believe that God wants us to meet together regularly to pray - to thank and praise Him for His goodness, to ask for His guidance in the decisions we make as a church, and to bring before Him those matters that concern us.

For further details on how to join please contact Claire Johnson.

First Saturday of every month at 8.30 am - 9.30 am and Wednesday at 7.45 am - 8.30 am via Zoom.

Café @ EBC

Cafe at EBC will not be running on Monday 19th August

Our church lounge is open from 10.00 am and 11.30 am on a Monday and  10.30 am to 12.30 pm on a Saturday.  We welcome both church attendees and members of the community to join us for coffee, tea and of course a biscuit.  This is a relaxed way for you to meet up with friends for a chat.

House Groups

House Group Meetings are held at several venues on various days/ evening throughout the week.

Why is it important to be part of a House Group?

  • You will experience what it feels like being part of God's family
  • You will build relationships with other Christians in the church
  • You will have prayer and support for when you face hard times in your life
  • You will develop good solid leadership skills
  • You will keep growing as a Christian

If you would like to know more about our House Groups, please contact the church office.

Children and Youth

We run many activities for children both pre-school and school-age.  For more details please see our Children and Youth page.

Planning your Visit

A WARM HELLO

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

Our Sunday Services start at 10.30am, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow time to meet our welcome team and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you will be given a welcome leaflet which gives a brief outline of Enfield Baptist Church, along with a “stay in touch” card, we would encourage you to complete this and hand it back to one of the team.
