LITTLE BUDS

LITTLE BUDS WILL NOT RUN ON FRIDAY 6 DECEMBER

Parenthood is a beautiful journey, but it comes with its challenges. You're not alone in this! Little Buds is here to support you during the first two years of your child's life. Join us for a coffee and connect with other parents who are on the same path.

We run two groups on a Friday:

10.15 am - 11.45 am: early walkers up the age of two, we also welcome younger siblings.

Our goal is to create a peaceful space in the main lounge where parents can relax, connect with others, and receive any support or advice they may need. Meanwhile, our dedicated volunteers will supervise your children in the adjacent extension lounge. While this isn't a rule, we strongly encourage it as it gives you a well-deserved break and helps your child develop independence and comfort with separation. We also hope to keep the main lounge a child-free zone, not as a strict rule, but as something we’re striving for with your understanding and support.

This group is for early walkers until the age of two, we also welcome younger siblings.

To ensure that we are able to offer this service the morning is a sign-up session offering 15 adult spaces, please note spaces are only for parents, not other carers such as Grandparents.   When signing up please use your name not your child's, this is available from 9am on Thursday mornings.   Please note the morning group is only for those on the register, please email: families@enfieldbaptistchurch.org.uk to request a place.

1.00 pm - 2.30 pm: Newborn until your baby is walking steadily

This is a drop-in group for babies from birth until they are confidently walking. Our afternoons are laid-back, with the focus on giving you a chance to unwind, enjoy a drink and a biscuit, and hopefully connect with other parents. Please note that once your little one is walking, we invite you to join our morning session instead.

We hope to welcome you and your baby soon.

For further information please email our Family Worker Clare Shadwell.

Planning your Visit

A WARM HELLO

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

Our Sunday Services start at 10.30am, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow time to meet our welcome team and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you will be given a welcome leaflet which gives a brief outline of Enfield Baptist Church, along with a “stay in touch” card, we would encourage you to complete this and hand it back to one of the team.
